mTw to Grand Final in style

The Danes from mTw have reached the Grand Final at DreamHack Winter, following a power-performance victory against compLexity.

The Danes booked the right to play the semi-final, after defeating the Swedish giants from fnatic. mTw would be facing compLextiy in the semi-final, who had proven the audience that they were capable of great play, with victories against SoA and k1ck.

Starting on dust2, mTw put up an amazing show, starring Martin "trace" Bang as the leading part. Nothing could stop the Danes, who reached 13-1 as T, before the server admin restarted the match by accident. The teams agreed not to play to last round, but instead second half (the round would be played, should be needed). The Danes finished off the show with three straight rounds as CT, taking a 16-1 victory on dust2.

Moving to nuke, mTw continued the strong performance against compLexity. By the score 7-1 for mTw as CT, the Americans found their way to enter the bombsites, taking the match to 8-7 in their favor. The Americans were then to put up a solid CT setup, in order to force mTw to third map. It did however never go through, as mTw took nine T rounds, against two CT rounds for compLexity. The Danes booked a ticket to the Grand Final, with 16-10 on nuke and 2-0 overall.

The other participant for the Grand Final is soon to be determined, as MYM and Millenium are currently playing second map in their battle, to decide who will reach the final.
